Classes

At Alaska Family Health & Birth Center, we believe in a woman’s natural ability to give birth to and nurture her baby. We also believe that offering a supportive environment with open access to education enhances the experiences and outcomes of childbirth.

From birth preparation to breastfeeding

Our classes are specifically designed for mothers who desire the comfort of an additional support group. We offer classes for:

• first-time mothers
• first out-of-hospital birth
• mothers with a new baby
• mothers who are breastfeeding

You’ll be immediately comfortable because you already know our staff members who are leading the classes.
